Contract Role with potential for conversion

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? Our client is looking for a dedicated Customer Support Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our customers and sales teams, ensuring a seamless experience from order to delivery.

As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a vital role in supporting internal and external stakeholders, processing orders with precision, and helping drive continuous improvement across our operations.

What You'll Do:




  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners, including clients, sales reps, and cross-functional teams



  • Act as a trusted liaison between customers and client's departments to ensure requests and needs are clearly understood and efficiently addressed



  • Respond to product inquiries and order requests via phone and email with professionalism and urgency



  • Process sales orders accurately and assist in creating RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) as needed



  • Collaborate with departments including Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Shipping to ensure timely and accurate deliveries



  • Maintain and update customer database records, including lead entry and order verification



  • Conduct detailed order reviews to confirm accuracy and compliance with internal processes



  • Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S to optimize workflows



  • Assist with special projects and provide back-up support to the Receptionist when needed



  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team's success

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred



  • Equivalent combination of education and customer service experience considered



  • 0-1 year of experience in a business or customer service environment preferred



  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment



  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and general computer applications; experience with databases is a plus



  • Accurate typing skills (45+ WPM) and superior data entry capabilities with high attention to detail



  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across departments
