Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL Server Analysis Services Power BI Service Data Modeling Mash Up Language DAX Azure Analysis Services MS Power BI MS Excel Database and SQL. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated data models using Power BI to support business intelligence needs.
  • Design and implement robust data solutions using SQL Server Analysis Services and Azure Analysis Services.
  • Create and optimize DAX queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Utilize Power BI Service to publish and share interactive reports and dashboards with stakeholders.
  • Leverage Mash Up Language to transform and integrate data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in MS Power BI and MS Excel to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models reports and dashboards.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials for end-users.
  • Support the company's mission by delivering high-quality data solutions that drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Must have strong experience in SQL Server Analysis Services and Azure Analysis Services.
  • Must have expertise in Power BI Service Data Modelling Mash Up Language and DAX.
  • Must be proficient in MS Power BI and MS Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Must have solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Nice to have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Nice to have knowledge of the latest trends in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and committed to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Must have a passion for leveraging data to drive business success.

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
