Genesis10 is seeking a Test Engineer I for an 8-month on-site contract position with a leading client in San Diego, CA Compensation: $45-50 per hour W2. Responsibilities: Perform testing throughout all product realization (Life Cycle) phases Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvement Prepare detailed reports and documentation of the results Implement best practices and innovative testing techniques to enhance product quality. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies. Review product requirements FMEAs to provide valuable feedback to design teams regarding testability Participate in the design of scalable test methods and needed fixturing Define appropriate criteria for test method validation activities Create and maintain documentation such as procedures, test protocols, test reports, equivalency justifications Define sampling plans in accordance with the risk management process Conduct peer reviews and approvals of data analysis and test documentation Participate in the design transfer activities by of test verification methods to sustain test engineering teams Collaborate with external lab partners for outsourced activities (ex., environmental & mechanical stresses) Requirements: Critical Thinking Skills Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills. Experience with the use of standard measurement tools Bachelors degree in Engineering required. Preference for Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering MS Office, JMP, Matlab Preferred Experience: Experience with CAD Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
