What is the opportunity?

As an Operations Associate III with RBC Wealth Management, you will work in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline driven environment providing direct support for the Corporate Actions team. You will provide analysis, processing, and customer service support for exception-based complex and/or highly specialized Operation's processes.

What will you do?

  • Provide processing support for corporate action events, including data analysis, input, and reconciliation.
  • Directly communicate with third parties, peers, and multiple levels of management to facilitate accurate and timely reconciliation of corporate action events.
  • Provide customer service support to US Wealth Management, and Custody and Clearing Advisors for corporate action related inquiries and escalations.
  • Support team processes, including but not limited to workflow queue management, procedural documentation maintenance, and attestation.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and training of team members to facilitate cross training and risk reduction.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) OR High school diploma (or equivalent) AND 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Effective problem identification, analytical, and resolution skills along with proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products. Effective exceptions based processing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Nice-to-have

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field.
  • 1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $40,000 - $65,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
