POSITION SUMMARY

Mountain Bike Trail Crew members are responsible for the maintenance of our existing trails, and for creating and maintaining the best possible riding experience for guests at the park. Mountain Bike Trail Crew members must have a passion for mountain biking to ensure that they are able to assess trail quality and how it relates to the experience of the rider. This is a full-time seasonal position, compensated at $20.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • The primary purpose of this job is to maintain existing mountain bike trails on the mountain while following guidelines and best practices
  • This job will involve the use of shovels, rakes, and other common power and non-power tools related to trail work
  • Mowing, brush clearing, weed trimming, bridge staging and repair
  • Operate company vehicles/ATVs
  • Work with other departments at the resort to assist with mountain projects whenever its possible without effecting the completion of weekly bike trail maintenance
  • Work with Sinuosity, our Trail Builders, to assist with completion of new mountain bike trails whenever its possible
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High school diploma in process or completed, required

Experience:
  • Must be a Mountain Biker and have the ability to ride all levels of trails in the Bike Park
  • 2 years previous trail building and maintenance experience, preferably in a bike park environment


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
