POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst reports to the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Located in Mansfield, MA
  • Part-Time
  • In Office



The Financial Analyst - Intern located in Mansfield, MA is responsible for working with multiple levels of the business to compile and gather information to help analyze and interpret data from various sources. This role will be responsible for producing reports for internal management, building forecast and budget templates, and performing analysis for budget comparisons. The Financial Analyst - Intern will be tasked with enhancing internal models to improve efficiency and accuracy of results to help drive business intelligence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:



  • Support the FP&A team in various analyses, specifically sales & backlog
  • Reporting of key metrics for internal management
  • Assist with preparation of forecasts and budget
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements
  • Provide project support and ad-hoc analysis as needed


COMPETENCIES:



  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as strong computer skills overall
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Good problem-solving skills with focus on accuracy
  • Excellent analytical ability and intellectual curiosity to understand business drivers


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Rising Junior or Senior for summer with potential for hours post summer
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's program for Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial statements

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
