GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs technically acceptable computerized electrocardiograms on a routine and emergency basis for both in-patient and outpatient services. Applies digital and cassette Holter monitor recorders, performs electrocardiogram editing after physician over-read as well as transaction capture (billing). Additional cardiovascular training in performing and interpreting EKG's or the equivalent. Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as EKG technician preferred.
