Job Description

The Workforce Relations Lead Consultant provides expert guidance on complex workforce relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies to drive a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This role independently investigates complex allegations of discrimination and harassment while also advising and influencing leaders, agents, and employees to resolve complex workplace conflicts.

This role serves as a trusted advisor within the organization, addressing critical workforce relations issues and initiatives. Additionally, this role partners with Organizational Talent Advisors (OTAs) and HR's Centers of Excellence (COEs) as subject matter experts, representing the workforce relations function, for HR programs and products.

This role may also serve as a primary point of contact for Workforce Transition processes from the initial coaching and counseling of potential business case submissions to executing written employee notifications. This role is responsible for training, leading critical programs, and designing and implementing special projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a large volume of complex workforce relations cases including, but not limited to, investigations of harassment, discrimination, inappropriate conduct, and performance management concerns, with adherence to communicated documentation expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide expert consultation to leaders, agents, and employees on a wide range of complex workforce relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
  • Advise on and support disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employment decisions to ensure consistency and fairness in alignment with local, federal, and international laws and company policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with legal, OTAs, and HR COEs to assess and mitigate risks associated with complex workforce relations matters.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and provide recommendations on complex workforce relations matters to drive a high-performing workplace culture.
  • Utilize evidence-based communication/storytelling to advise resolution of complex workforce relation matters by presenting data-driven recommendations for all audiences.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by owning the workforce transition process, providing insights and guidance on employee transitions and impacts.

Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
  • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in handling agency partnerships or addressing employee relations matters for independent contractors (Preferred)
Education & Experience (in lieu)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Deep knowledge and expertise of HR and company policies and procedures with strong familiarity of local, federal, and international labor laws.
  • Proven ability to influence up, down, and across.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility to navigate strong, interconnected relationships.
  • Demonstrated change agility and systems thinking.
  • Strong time management skills, including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and organize work to meet accelerated timelines.

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with a variety of different leadership styles and adapt approach to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to remain positive, open, and effective when facing change, challenges, or uncertainty.
  • Expert level communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and HR platforms (preferred)..

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $74,240.00 - 134,060.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
