Responsibilities
Utilization Management Coordinator: Full-Time/In-Person Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a brand-new behavioral health provider serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix region. We opened in February 2022 and now offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our modern 120-bed facility offers offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and co-occurring addictions. Position Description: The Utilization Management Coordinator reports to the Utilization Management Director. UM Coordinators provide an ongoing, systematic process for the assessment of the necessity and efficiency of the use of Via Linda Behavioral Hospital services. Interface with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors for initial reviews, continued stay reviews and discharge planning. Assists in the promotion and maintenance of high-quality patient care through the review and evaluation of clinical practices. Qualifications Education and Experience:
