JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated Power Apps Intern to assist with real-world process automation and reporting projects. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft's Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate is a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled at Blinn, RELLIS, or Texas A&M University. Someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support the team in automating workflows and enhancing reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline data management and reporting processes.
  • Participate in process automation projects, applying AI tools such as AI Builder or Copilot (if applicable).
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to optimize current processes.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled at Blinn, RELLIS, or Texas A&M University.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Basic experience or coursework in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI.
  • Understanding of data structures, Excel, or SQL (a plus).
  • Familiarity with AI tools like AI Builder or Copilot is a plus.
  • Interest in automation, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and suggest practical improvements.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and responsible data handling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI tools such as AI Builder or Copilot.
  • Exposure to automation projects or coursework in business process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
