Position Description

Performs warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks, picking and issuing materials and delivering them to designated locations.

Issues inventory by material orders and/or miscellaneous transactions.

Receives materials for inventory from external sources such as vendors, common carriers, and other Santee Cooper warehouses.

Inspects the items to ensure they are accurate, undamaged, and makes sure they are stocked in the correct warehouse location.

Issues/returns tools and special equipment using the Tool Management System.

Rotates monthly with other Stores Specialist in the tool room.

Maintain adequate supplies in the tool room and on the bench stock shelves.

Ensures all inventory transactions are properly documented and entered into the Oracle Inventory System.

Assists in conducting monthly inventory cycle counts and yearly audits.

Performs preventative checks on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools and rigging equipment.

Assist in the yearly rigging and safety equipment inspections.

Supports planned and unplanned outages by working overtime for duration of outage.

Rotates on-call status throughout the year.

Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist A

High School Diploma +5 years experience or Associate's Degree +4 years experience required.

Knowledge of computers, basic math, and record keeping skills.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.

A valid driver's license and forklift operators permit required.

Must be able to accommodate overtime, rotating shifts, and on-call status.

Compensation Information
$23.85 - $29.80 (min.-mid.)

Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B

High School Diploma/GED +2 years experience or Associate's Degree +1 year experience required.

Knowledge of computers, basic math, and record keeping skills.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.

A valid driver's license and forklift operators permit required.

Must be able to accommodate overtime, rotating shifts, and on-call status.

Compensation Information
$19.45 - $24.30 (min.-mid.)

Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C

High School Diploma/GED required.

Knowledge of computers, basic math, and record keeping skills.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.

A valid driver's license and forklift operators permit required upon 6 months of hire.

Must be able to accommodate overtime, rotating shifts, and on-call status.

Compensation Information
$17.50 - $21.85 (min.-mid.)
