The Opportunity: Join our Cocoa, FL based team that is helping transform the building industry to build verified energy-efficient homes. The successful candidate person will work on developing curriculum, training contractors in new and existing continuing education courses, training of HERS energy raters, obtaining and maintaining RESNET QAD and Training certifications, and conducting quality inspections to verify contractor performance both with submitted software files and in-field (homes located throughout the Southeast) inspections. Perform role of energy rater trainer and quality assurance designee complying with requirements set out by RESNET, ENERGY STAR homes and other programs. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. The UCF policy requires completion and passing of a physical exam for this position or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Special Instructions to the Applicants: Position is located in Cocoa, Florida. Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business. Position will require ability to lift 50 lbs., ability to climb ladders and inspect attics as part of quality on-site inspection. This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position.
