POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing patient schedules and working with all of the visiting staff to mazimize efficiency and productive work hours, ensure the delivery of quality care, and promote patient satisfaction.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Computer and keyboard skills. Six months of prior scheduling experience preferred. Prior experience as a Home Health Aide preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Medical terminology preferred. Demonstrates effective interaction and communication (oral and writing) skills. Ability to work accurately and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in stressful situations and a changing work environment related to changing patient needs. Ability to work cooperatively within the health-system; with patients and family members; and with multidisciplinary team members (i.e. , nurses, Rehab staff, etc.). Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Ability to use effective analytical skills to effectively problem-solve and schedule HHA visits.
