Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking an experienced school district Nutrition Team Manager for the 2025-26 school year. The applicant will be assisting the Director of the Nutrition Team in recruitment, supervision, evaluation, scheduling and in-service of nutrition team staff. The Manager will be responsible for writing and maintaining food production sheets, assist with managing the federal and state reporting: including the application process, free and reduced certifications and be able to address compliance questions and issues. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of the Nutrition Team. This position begins on or around May 12, 2025, with a work schedule of 205 days per year, consisting of 8-hour workdays. The hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 for the 2025-2026 school year, based on experience and education. The position also includes a highly competitive benefits package. Qualifications: The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who has knowledge of local, state and federal regulations pertaining to food service operations and safety/health procedures. The ideal candidate must also be knowledgeable in human resources procedures, and strong understanding of school business, including but not limited to school district budgeting, technology, food service equipment, and menu creation. Candidates should be organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to collaboratively work with others. The School District of Milton requires certification in ServSafe and prefers a School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) certification. A high school diploma or GED and six years of nutrition background is required. An Associate's Degree in a related food/restaurant field (i.e. dietetics) and four years of school district nutrition experience is highly preferred.
