Principal Responsibilities: * Safely execute all duties and contribute to Messer's strong safety culture. * Field customer phone calls and email inquiries to identify appropriate replacement parts * Pack and ship both freight and parcel bound parts orders in a timely manner to Messer customers * Review Bill of Materials on CAD drawings and ensure accuracy and thoroughness of all parts and materials information. * Collaborate with Engineering, improve equipment records and ensure up-to-date technical documentation * Utilize database and business software systems to generate parts quotes for customers * Process invoices for customer orders * Receive/process/restock all incoming parts in a timely manner * Collaborate with vendors and procurement to obtain part quotes and lead times * Identify obsolete parts and identify functional replacements. * Support annual inventory audits and reconciliation processes * Improving existing workflows to drive departmental efficiency * Assist in general facility operations and contribute to team projects as needed Required Skills: * Ability to interpret CAD drawings & Bills of Material * Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems * Strong experience with MS Office * Strong oral and written communication skills * Detail-oriented * Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma * 1-3 years of work experience in a related field or role Preferred Qualifications: * Fork truck/tow motor experience/certification * Hands-on experience operating or maintaining production machinery * Customer service experience related to equipment and spare parts * Experience in the industrial gas industry * Associate degree or enrollment in an Engineering Technology or Vocational program About Messer: We offer comprehensive benefits and appreciable pay, with steady schedules and opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.
