Job Overview

The Talent Manager is responsible for designing and implementing programs that foster employee growth, enhance skills, and develop leadership within an organization. They assess training needs, create development plans, and ensure alignment with business goals. This role involves collaborating with department heads, facilitating workshops, and monitoring the effectiveness of training initiatives to promote continuous learning, employee engagement, and career advancement opportunities. Additionally, they help identify high-potential employees for leadership roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for the company's future success. The Talent Manager will support teammates in navigating their career paths and maximizing their professional opportunities. They will collaborate with HR business partners to drive organizational development initiatives, promote leadership development, and ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Strategy, Planning & Analytics

* Partner with functional leaders to understand business needs and translate them into talent management strategies.

* Develop and implement talent strategies that drive business growth, employee engagement, and workforce optimization.

* Utilize tools and technology to track , monitor and report results.

Employee Development & Performance Management

* Provide guidance on career development and leadership opportunities, helping employees maximize their potential.

* Create tailored training and development plans to address skill gaps and future talent needs.

Teammate Engagement & Retention

* Collaborate with leadership teams to foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

* Conduct regular surveys, analyze feedback, and develop action plans for improvement.

Teammate Experience

* Manage & Execute Teammate On Boarding Experience & Learning Center experience

Capability Building

* Develop and enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of teams and teammates.

* Provide teammates with tools and learning opportunities they need to acquire new skills and enhance existing ones.

* Lead & facilitate Sales training initiatives.

Leadership Development Programs

* Design and implement leadership development initiatives that align with organizational goals, identifying potential leaders and preparing them for advanced roles.

* Use metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of leadership development programs and make data-driven improvements to strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Prior experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, and Leadership Development

* Leadership and Coaching: Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire employees to grow in their roles, with strong leadership development skills

* Strategic Thinking: Aligns talent development initiatives with organizational goals and identifies long-term strategies for workforce growth

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to deliver training, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with stakeholders

* Assessment and Evaluation: Proficient in conducting training needs assessments, analyzing employee performance, and measuring the effectiveness of development programs

* Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships with leaders, HR teams, and employees to drive talent initiatives across the organization

* Project Management: Capable of managing multiple talent development initiatives, timelines, and budgets efficiently.

* Change Management: Skilled in supporting employees through transitions, new systems, or organizational changes by developing relevant training and guidance

* Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Conflict resolution: Understanding and managing one's own emotions and those of others, fostering a positive, empathetic learning environment

* Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and introduce new, creative development solutions

* Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other tools for delivering and tracking training programs

* Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Two or four year degree preferred
