Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$115,700.00 - $173,500.00

As the Manager - Product Development Sourcing, you will be in a player/coach role to lead your local team to be the key bridge between the engineering and materials functions and will work closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure on time and on budget design projects.

Managing this important collaboration early in the product development process will lead to favorable cost management and a smooth transition during the Commercialization phase of the Plexus Product Realization Value Stream.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Product Development Sourcing Architecture and Execution - Serve as supply chain lead, providing strategic guidance and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, and unit price while managing sourcing and procurement for mid-sized to large projects.

  • Quality Execution - Accountable for ensuring team's metric performance, adherence to existing processes, and responsible for staffing projects for success.

  • Strategic Growth - Supports continuous improvement. Expand and grow group capabilities by hiring personnel, establishing and achieving group objectives, identifying and supporting training opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic roadmaps for further process development.

  • Business Development - Works collaboratively with the business development and project management team to effectively promote and sell Product Development Sourcing services. Assist in creating collateral to promote team services in customer facing meetings. Ensure proposals created by their team have well bounded scope, adequate budget and clear deliverables to ensure customer success.

  • Talent Acquisition and Development - Effectively recruit high potential talent. Proactively identifies growth opportunities to advance the skills and careers of employees within Plexus. Provide constructive feedback and coaching, recognizes individual accomplishments, sets appropriate goals and objectives, and resolves personnel issues and conflicts professionally.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field.

  • Experience in developing systems and procedures.

  • Proven negotiation and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.

  • Strong data analysis and Decision-making capabilities.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
