As a Senior Integration and Test Engineer within Nokia Space and Defense, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of secure communications for NATO and allied nations. - Define and document testable hardware requirements in collaboration with Product Architects.
- Lead development of comprehensive hardware test plans to ensure product verification meets specifications.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to achieve a seamless design integration.
- Conduct root cause analysis of product faults, documenting findings and driving resolution efforts.
- Report program status weekly in release manager meetings, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Maintain an efficient lab environment, ensuring compliance with CAPEX constraints and calibration standards.
- Gather necessary documentation for HW design maturity milestones (P7 and P8) to facilitate product launch.
- Mentor junior hardware team members, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional development.
You have:
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in hardware integration and verification testing
- Proficiency with a wide variety of test automation tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience managing customer and third-party test lab relationships
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory testing standards
- Experience providing technical guidance to junior engineers
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining hardware test plans
