From your PASSION to ours

As a Trade Spend Systems Analyst, the role will carry out responsibilities such as supporting the Assoc. Manager of Trade Admin and Analysis in the maintenance, planning, reporting, organization and the analysis of the Trade Management System (Go Simple). These efforts are in conjunction with the necessary communication of activities related to the trade system to the Foodservice broker network, Zone Managers, Key Account Managers, and National Account Sales Managers. In addition to the functions mentioned above, the position requires continual inter-departmental communication as well as the necessary coordination of activities with Finance, Operations, Quality, Legal, Brokers, Field Sales and any other relevant departments.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Support the Manager of Trade Admin and Analysis in maintaining, planning, and organizing the GoSimple Trade Management System and its reporting.

* Generate and analyze reports using GoSimple and Tableau to assess trade spend activities and system effectiveness.

* Clearly communicate report findings to the Trade Marketing team to enhance decision-making and optimize tool usage.

* Track and analyze the accuracy of GoSimple plans and related claims, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.

* Develop and conduct analytical reviews of PowerBI reports, primarily using data from GoSimple.

* Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes of trade spend issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.

* Collaborate with Sales, Brokers, Trade, and other relevant departments to interpret analysis findings and resolve deduction issues or errors.

* Participate in cross-training efforts within the department and provide additional support as needed.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

* Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience

* 2-3 years of relevant experience required.

* 2+ years of foodservice experience is favored.

Specific knowledge

* Understanding of trade systems and the workings of them as it relates to food service Operators and Distributors

* Detail oriented

* Extensive report analysis

Competencies

* Must have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and administrative skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with all major functions of the company.

* Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft office tools, with heavy emphasis on xls.

* Strong communication, organizational and computer skills

* Team oriented (ability to connect with and work cohesively with the field sales organization/broker network)

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales personnel, clients, customers, and the public.

* Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
