Requirements

    Five (5) or more years experience with:
    • Supporting large Navy or DoD Tactickal Networks and systems administration
    • Cyber operations, supporting STIGs, vunerabilities, and configs for systems/networks
    • Operationg Systems Management (Linux, Windows, VMware)
    • Networking technologies (primarily Cisco), and third party applications
    • Azure (or similar govcloud) Systems Engineering, to include architecture design, deployment, migration(s), configurations , and administration
  • The ability to understand complex network operating systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
  • Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ Min)


Desired Skills

  • Experience with any or all of the following:
    • Supporting large Navy or DoD Tactical Networks
    • Unified Communications, VoIP, and cisco call manager
    • Thorough understanding of DoD (Navy) Cyber security practices
    • Networking (primarily Cisco, Avaya)
    • ESS / HBSS
    • VRAM
    • Advanced certifications, such as:
    • Azure certification (any)
    • Linux: RHCE, RHCSA, or similar
    • Cisco: CCNP, CCNA or similar
    • Juniper (JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-DevOps, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SEC)
    • VMware: VCP, VCAP, or similar
    • Microsoft: MCSE, MCITP, or similar
  • Technical degree strongly preferred


Description

  • Providing strategic guidance, engineer solutions, and support the technical needs of Navy systems that will be integrating with a cloud based Azure environment
  • Participating in the day to day operations of lab management, cyber compliance, system administration and engineering, troubleshooting, and all other technical needs in support of the lab
  • Participating in a broad set of work and supporting across multiple disciplines
  • Cross-training with existing team to understand the as-is environment
  • Performing cyber compliance, STIGs, Scans (ACAS), vulnerability management
  • Integrating environment into Azure govcloud
  • Managing application servers (VMware tools, OCSP, Syslog, Trellix, and other business applications)
  • Providing weekly updates to systems and networks

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
