System Engineering - DC Migration

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in DC Migration Wintel Azure AWS Citrix Vmware Hyper-V VXrail Switching & Routing Cisco Wireless and WAN Optimizers. Support DC migration activities and drive .The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Research and Development and Medical Devices. This hybrid role requires a day shift with no travel.

Responsibilities

• Experienced System Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in DC Migration Wintel Azure AWS Citrix Vmware Hyper-V VXrail Switching & Routing Cisco Wireless and WAN Optimizers. Support DC migration activities and drive .

Design and implement robust network architectures using Google Cloud Networking to ensure high availability and scalability.

• Oversee the configuration and management of load balancing solutions to optimize traffic distribution and improve application performance.
• Provide expertise in Switching and Routing with Arista and Cisco technologies to maintain efficient and secure network operations.
• Manage wireless network solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and performance across the organization.
• Implement and optimize WAN Optimizers to enhance network efficiency and reduce latency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Research and Development initiatives in the Medical Devices domain.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations to maintain the integrity and security of network infrastructures.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations processes and procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new networking technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective network solutions.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Google Cloud Networking Load balancing Switching and Routing
• Arista Switching & Routing Cisco Wireless and WAN Optimizers.
• Demonstrate expertise in Research and Development and Medical Devices domains.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Show proficiency in network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Hold relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified
• Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest networking technologies and trends.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 2/28/2025

The annual salary for this position is between 99,000 t0 133,500 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
