Job Overview

The CCH New Business Specialist is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential outlets, capitalizing on opportunities from internal and external new business leads. This role is also required to analyze prospects through extensive research on background, demographics, and location. The Customer Ambassador - New Business makes initial contact with potential clients and business decision makers. Their goal is to generate and provide qualified leads to LSRs to meet or exceed annual business objectives to secure new accounts and support the long-term growth of Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc.

This position plays a critical role in the profitable growth of all FSOP markets with new business opportunities. The CCH New Business Specialist is a strategic sales professional and creative thinker with a tireless work ethic and high energy. This role works closely with field sales and support teams to ensure execution standards and sales targets are met, advocating the myCoke platform.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Generate new business leads to promote sales growth in assigned territories through execution of cold calls and new business prospect analysis.

* Build and maintain profitable customer relationships.

* Execute and close all prospecting sales calls/leads daily.

* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Customer Connection Hub, as well as other field sales roles.

* Assist with minor reporting details for lead generation metrics and project.

* Confidence in building rapport with potential clients and ability to handle rejection while positively creating a first impression that exemplifies and maintains the company brand.

* Strong negotiation and administrative skills required.

* Strong initiative, with investigative and research skills required.

* Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills required.

* Excellent communication, rapport-building, and organizational skills required.

* Proficiency in computer application and multitasking skills required.

* Ability to use and understand mobile applications required.

* Ability to work variable schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

* Knowledge acquired through 1 - 3 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelors' degree (Business, Communications, Marketing or related)

* 6 months previous beverage industry experience

Work Environment

The work environment will mainly consist of an office environment, with occasional field visits that may include limited exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
