GENERAL FUNCTION

The fundamental Enterprise Account manager's (EAM) role is two-fold: 1) achieve new technology sales & profit goals assigned to enterprise accounts (EAs) & 2) retention & management of all accounts within the assigned focus area to drive new customer growth & maintain retention. This includes monthly business reviews, main point of contact for the customer, large deal negotiations & management of contractual agreements. The EAM is an experienced & mature sales consultant, comfortable working with EL's largest, multi-location customers to develop their full potential with Helix platforms & services. Will manage complex market dynamics, ethically negotiate partnerships & retain profitable long-term customer commitments. Travel up to 15-25% inclusive of overnights.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Increase product adoption & utilization through the development of strong relationships with account influencers & decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate continuous growth/added value through the education of key account stakeholders.
  • Add value for each account by increasing engagement through the development & presentation of performance analytics tailored to individual client needs.
  • Achieve growth & hit company sales targets by successfully managing accounts.
  • Maintain consistent weekly & monthly KPIs & progress toward goal updates.
  • Take ownership of customer issues & following problems through to resolution.
  • Develop & manage relationships with EA influencers & decision makers to ensure they are engaged & receiving value.
  • Perform regular business reviews with partners to review activity & propose improvements to ensure maximum value is being received. These reviews will include:

    • Optimization Analysis
    • Goal setting
    • Plans for improvement


  • Proactively communicate product findings, issues &/or concerns to the appropriate functional area to include product, development & technical support for resolution &/or future enhancements.
  • Coordinate & maintain oversight of the training, integration, & onboarding of new offices within accounts.
  • Establish rapport & relationships with EOA EAs, OOGP & other EL resources to extend sales reach & ongoing support of existing clients.
  • Minimum in person annual visits to Top Key Accounts
  • Perform a minimum of monthly business acquisition reviews with their director.
  • Both assist & leverage the EA broader organization to align efforts & strategic initiatives that are in place with our largest, national customers.
  • Effectively manage pricing strategy & pricing execution
  • Attend industry tradeshows, team meetings, customer meetings & conferences as needed.
  • Recommend growth & service strategies
  • Complete all requested administrative tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience in developing business plans with an action orientation for Key Account or major customers.
  • A strong background in eyecare industry sales or sales management.
  • Proficient computer & software skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • A consistent urgency & ability for follow-through on all internal & external commitments & communication.
  • An understanding of financial concepts & how sales activities impact the P&L


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Some Sales Management & analytics experience preferred.
