Clinical Coordinator, RN, - Emergency Medicine Follow Up

This role is for a Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) ED Clinical Coordinator, which is a hybrid position. The typical work schedule is 7am-7pm, three days a week, with one day remote, two days onsite, with 4 hours administrative time built into the week. Rotating weekends every 8 weeks. There is some flexibility in this schedule, but the employee will need to work closely with manager.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years RN experience required. At least 2 years experience in relevant specialty or department, as defined by the department, desired. (ex: hospital setting, vascular, rehab, long term care, home health, cardiology, ambulatory, surgery)

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Current VA RN license required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirement. Must obtain and maintain appropriate certifications as defined by the department.

• BLS-HCP required within 1 year of hire or at time of hire
• ACLS, Conscious Sedation, CCRN, ONC, Pain Management and other modality specific certifications (ex: Cardiology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular) certifications desired.

Valid Virginia, or state specific, drivers license required for employees working in Home Health or departments where the work requires traveling.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills required. Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, organization and effective judgement abilities required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation requirements. Must be able to meet essential job functions. Designated areas may require Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and other third party payor regulations
