Learn more about us at https://www.hawkinsinc.com/careers/ ABOUT THE JOB A senior database analyst specializes in collecting data, organizing that data, and then analyzing the data so that they can accurately report out information so other departments can make informed decisions. As a senior-level employee, the senior database analyst serves as a liaison between the Information Technology team and other departments. They use their experience with data management, database systems, and reporting systems to collect and report on data within the organization. A great deal of this process is automated, so the ability to see the big picture and architect out solutions that consider all areas of the organization is important. Familiarity with database systems, especially Microsoft SQL Server, is a must. Ability to troubleshoot database issues, locks & blocks, and performance tuning is required. Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is a plus. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy & Planning
