Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SAP technology development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support, guiding BD through the S4 migration journey.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
  • Ensure the successful and first-time quality delivery of SAP projects on time, within scope, and within the right effort estimations and budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Stay ahead of with the latest SAP technologies and trends and provide recommendations for adoption and integration.
  • Manage relationships with key partners, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP solutions, including technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations & compliance, and best practices.
  • Additional responsibilities include supporting BDs ERP lifecycle roadmaps and sustaining platform operations

Skills

  • Experience working in a US FDA CFR24 Part 11 compliant medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Software Development Lifecycle and Release Management knowledge for validated systems
  • Experience Developing in SAP S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0, BPC HANA, CRM, SCM, IBP SRM, & Solution Manager.
  • Extensive experience in developing, debugging, troubleshooting, and coding for performance in object-oriented programming (classes/methods) and Enhancement points.
  • Strong development skills in the following SAP technologies: ABAP objects, WebDynpro, Workflow, ADOBE Forms, Smart Forms, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, ABAP Objects, New ABAP, User Exits, Eclipse, BAPIs, SAP Script, Smart Forms, EDI/IDoc, Data Archiving, ALE, FIORI, CDC, ALV, ATC, SQL, BADIs & BADI implementations, OData Services, WEB IDE, CRM Middleware & Business Objects.
  • Experience working with SAPs BTP(Business Technology Platform) and its components.
  • Familiar with SAPs Clean core approach for extensions
  • Familiar with BTPs ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) & SAPs Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
  • Experienced in all S4 programming extension options: Key User extensions, On-Stack Developer extensions, in- app extensions, and classical extensions.
  • Experience implementing interfaces using CIF, CPI, ALE, RFC, IDocs etc.
  • Experience working with SAP Max Attention and Incident Management process.
  • Experience running and leading projects both Waterfall & Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Responsible for analyzing & developing solutions including integration between SAP and non-SAP Systems
  • Maintain and update existing program code as needed
  • Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements.
  • Perform system monitoring tasks to ensure business continuity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP technology development, with a focus on ABAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Fiori.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing SAP development teams.
  • Good understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration points.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex SAP projects successfully.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant areas is a plus.
