Johnson County's Department of Aging and Human Services is recruiting for a Nutrition Program Coordinator which assists in the coordination of the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program. First review of applications for this job will begin on January 23. Job Description Additional duties include:
Manages the operation of the Nutrition Center programs; oversees and supports the daily operation of all designated programs; works with local communities to gain support for programs; evaluates and identifies customer and program needs; coordinates quarterly Nutrition Center staff meetings/trainings; performs other responsibilities that support the nutrition program; ensures State and Federal program requirements are met.
Job Requirements High School diploma & two (2) years' of experience in management, food service, hospitality or relevant experience are required. A Bachelor's degree in food service management, human services, public administration, dietetics, nutrition, social work; or relevant field and one year leading, directing, supervising, or coordinating the work of others are preferred. Experience may be substituted for education. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Must be able to successfully pass criminal background screening. |
