Role Overview The Ultrasound Point-of-Care (POC) Sales Representative is responsible for driving direct sales and maximizing revenue growth within Mindray North America's U.S. Ultrasound Imaging business. This role focuses on building and managing relationships in hospital settings, including Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Regional Anesthesia, and Labor and Delivery departments. The representative works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Radiology/Vascular Sales, Patient Monitoring Sales, Clinical Technology Specialists, and Marketing, to achieve sales objectives. Occasionally, the role will involve supporting distribution sales activities in physician offices and other non-hospital settings. Additionally, the representative will provide customer feedback to Marketing and Engineering to inform product improvements and new product development. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution:
- Develop and execute direct sales strategies in hospitals and surgery centers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, coordinate installations, and lead in-service training sessions with Clinical Technical Specialists.
- Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) to manage quoting activity, forecasting, competitive analysis, and account information.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Patient Monitoring Sales, Regional Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers, and Anesthesia Sales Representatives, to maximize opportunities.
- Work with Marketing and R&D teams to share customer insights and feedback.
- Foster collaboration with other Ultrasound Sales Representatives to build the brand and drive product adoption.
- Market Focus:
- Concentrate efforts on key hospital departments such as Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, ICU, and Labor & Delivery.
- Support regional and national ultrasound conferences and training workshops.
- Operational Management:
- Actively manage open orders, outstanding credit balances, and overall account health.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Zone Manager.
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field required.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare capital equipment sales required.
- 3+ years of ultrasound sales experience preferred.
Skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound technology and clinical applications.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce and basic office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Up to 70% travel required, including overnight and occasional weekend travel for conferences and training events.
