Responsibilities

Orrick currently has an opportunity for a real estate associate to join our market-leading Energy & Infrastructure practice in any of Orrick's U.S. offices. We are seeking an associate with three to five years of real estate experience, with a strong preference for experience in the energy and infrastructure sector. Our team advises clients through the project lifecycle, from development and initial due diligence to M&A transactions and debt and tax equity financing. An ideal candidate will have experience with the real estate aspects of these transactions, including for wind, solar and/or battery storage projects. Experience reviewing and advising on title and survey issues is required. We seek associates who enjoy working closely with clients in an exciting, fast-paced environment and are motivated to work in emerging areas in energy and infrastructure.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
