POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Sales Specialist, Private Label reports to the Vice President, Territory Sales
  • Located in Atlanta GA, Tampa Fl, or Miami Fl
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid



The Sales Specialist, Private Label, is a key member of our sales team responsible for driving growth and revenue through the development and management of private label foodservice smallwares and tabletop products. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with potential private label clients, understanding their unique needs, and strategically positioning our products to meet those requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development:



  • Identify and target potential private label clients through market research and industry analysis.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the private label client portfolio.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential private label clients, serving as the main point of contact.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their product requirements and provide tailored solutions.


Sales Presentations and Negotiation:



  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing the value proposition of our private label solutions.
  • Lead negotiation processes to secure agreements that align with both client needs and company objectives.


Market Analysis:



  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for product improvement or expansion.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities in the private label sector and adjust sales strategies accordingly.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and logistics, to ensure successful execution of private label initiatives.
  • Provide insights and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of private label products and services.



COMPETENCIES:



  • Strong understanding of sales principles, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in private label agreements.
  • In-depth understanding of the private label market, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey product value and negotiate effectively.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • 3+ years of experience in Foodservice Smallwares/Tabletop sales, with a focus on private label products, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
  • Familiarity with the private label sector and an understanding of market dynamics.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
