Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Pharmacy Data Intelligence Analyst V to join our team!
- Optimizes healthcare operations, elevates patient care delivery, and advances organizational objectives through effective analysis, collaboration, and implementation of solutions.
- Elicits and documents stakeholder business needs by asking insightful questions.
- Interprets healthcare data to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies, addressing complex issues and facilitating evidence-based decision-making. Ensures alignment between business requirements and technology solutions.
- Defines the goals and objectives of data visualization with precision. Structures visualizations in a coherent order to craft a captivating narrative that guides viewers through the data and its insights.
- Collaborates with the Business Intelligence Builder to design visualizations for intricate healthcare data, utilizing mock-ups, storyboards, charts, graphs, heatmaps, and dashboards.
- Assesses and ensures the quality, thoroughness, and precision of healthcare data by conducting data profiling, data cleansing, and validation processes.
- Harnesses expert knowledge and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, including its systems, processes, regulations, and best practices, to catalyze continuous improvement within our healthcare system.
- Masters medical terminology, disease processes, treatment modalities, and patient care practices to enhance the delivery of high-quality care.
- Analyzes and streamlines the series of activities, tasks, and workflows within healthcare organizations, such as patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical billing and coding, EHR management, inventory management, and quality assurance, to maximize operational efficiency and patient care.
- Utilizes knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs), health information systems, medical coding and billing, and healthcare IT security and privacy regulations, enabling effective management and use of healthcare data to support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
- Ensures familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and accreditation standards to guarantee compliance, safeguard patient privacy and security, and uphold the integrity of healthcare operations.
- Establishes project goals and boundaries at the outset to ensure everyone grasps the objectives and limitations, preventing scope creep, establishing realistic expectations, and sustaining focus on achieving the desired outcomes.
- Maintains open and transparent communication with stakeholders throughout the project. Delivers regular updates, responds to concerns promptly, and fosters teamwork among team members. Involves stakeholders early and often to cultivate trust, align expectations, and secure project success.
- Develops a detailed project plan outlining tasks, deadlines, resources, and dependencies. Utilizes project management software to break the work into manageable parts, assign tasks, estimate effort, and establish a realistic schedule. Monitors progress closely, addresses issues promptly, and adapts as needed to stay on track.
- Efficiently strategizes, organizes, and executes tasks to achieve specific goals.
- Works closely with other teams outside the department of pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy business objectives and operational needs are represented and addressed when it comes to data infrastructure and analytics.
- Facilitates organizational change by orchestrating collaboration with stakeholders, mitigating resistance, and advocating for the adoption of new processes and technologies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensures all stakeholders comprehend the reasons for change and its impact on them. Engages stakeholders early, promotes participation, and addresses concerns to foster support and commitment.
- Mobilizes senior leaders to actively champion change, establish priorities, allocate resources, and overcome obstacles. Leaders should demonstrate by example, provide guidance, and emphasize the importance of the change to instill confidence.
- Embraces flexibility and adaptability to navigate uncertainties and challenges. Adjusts plans and strategies based on feedback and lessons learned, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Clinical Informatics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of work-related experience.
