Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Team Leader, utilize judgment in performance of duties in conjunction with company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Analyze and organize production operations, routings, and sequences.
  • Investigate manufacturing difficulties and determine corrective procedures.
  • Assist with various related engineering functions, e.g., automation, design, standardization of parts, costs reduction, and quality control.
  • Design assembly fixturing gaging, test equipment and general fixturing for secondary operations.
  • Develop new processes for new or improved products.
  • Work on projects improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Implement lean manufacturing ideas and principles on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • Classified as a Junior or Senior in college credits and enrolled in a 4-year Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related degree.
  • 0-1 year of experience preferred.
  • PC proficiency: able to use MS Office programs (Word and Excel).
  • Flexible mind-set
  • Take responsibility and ownership for ongoing personal development
