Staff Accountant

This General Accounting position involves various accounting functions related to supporting corporate/staff as well as the operational units

* Monthly closing, journal entries and correspondence to multiple divisions

* Various monthly account reconciliations/analysis

* Monthly Sales Tax reporting

* Support Sales Tax Exemption process

* Budget review and analysis

* Fixed Asset maintenance

* Cost Accounting back-up

* Internal and external audit support

* Intercompany accounting/reconciliation

* Weekly Payroll processing support

* Various monthly accounting duties and responsibilities

* Special projects as necessary

Education/Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting

* One to two years accounting experience preferred

* Good knowledge of all aspects of general accounting

* Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)

* Ability to multi-task and work effectively with others in a team environment

* Strong team player mindset/attitude

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $60,053 - $100,088
