Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Field/Project Coordinator for the School of Social Work.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with Latinx serving nonprofit agencies to recruit them for LISTA practicum placements.
- Ensures completion and updates of agency afiliation agreements.
- Facilitates coordination of all items on the LISTA annual schedule including but not limited to: student community building events, Hispanic Heritage month events, scholarship related activities and events, promotional plans, etc.
- Revises and refreshes the alumni and agency databases monthly with new contact information and maintains both up to date.
- Coordinates itinerary and logistics for student, alumni, and related LISTA events.
- Creates content and coordinate with others for the development of promotional materials, social media posts, and student/alumni interviews.
- Supports outreach for program marketing.
- Conducts LISTA presentations to appropriate nonprofit agencies, colleges, and other pipleline audiences.
- Assists in outreach efforts and the coordination of the itinerary for the Puerto Rico study abroad program.
- Aids in grant research and development.
- Conduct sliterature reviews as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Master's degree in social work.

- Ability to speak and write in the Spanish language.
- Comprehensive understanding and familiarity with culturally congruent social services within Latino/a/x communities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
