About The Role
Western Security Bank is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Assistant. The Commercial Loan Assistant II will provide loan processing support to the commercial lending staff. The Commercial Loan Assistant II position requires a range of duties including, but not limited to, pulling credit reports, loan file preparation, lien releases, collateral tracking while maintaining a high level of quality control. The Commercial Loan Assistant will collect, provide, and prepare loan documentation. This position requires the ability to interpret, understand and execute established policies and procedures. The Commercial Loan Assistant demonstrates a high degree of accountability through utilization of knowledge, skills and actions that protect the assets of WSB and its customers. The Commercial Loan Assistant will work independently as well as in cross functional teams with various levels of knowledge. These cross functional teams assist internal support staff to accomplish position/department/customer goals within regulatory/policy guidelines. Will also serve as a liaison maintaining a professional, customer service-oriented demeanor in all contact. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: TECHNICAL DUTIES

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: regularly lifting or moving up to 10 founds and infrequently lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
