Description Currently there is a massive backlog of new and existing vendor applications that need to be reviewed from a Risk and Security perspective. This team has significantly grown their 3rd party Risk Management Program. Our goal is to incorporate regulatory requirements into the Risk Management Program and provide continual process and improvement as it continues to grow. This person will review, recommend and provide detailed documentation around potential Risk and Security should the bank decide to partner with them. Will have to review existing relationships and if they aren't up to speed from a compliance perspective, identify and report your findings to the Information Security leadership team. Skills 1. Risk Assessment and Compliance experience. 2. Vendor management experience. Specifically the ability to review 3rd party vendor applications and be able to determine the type of Risk the bank takes on should they decide to work with specific vendor. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication. The information captured during initial vendor review will be used down the road when the bank goes through quarterly Audit and compliance checks. Culture and communication are going to be huge for this role as it is a Financial institution. The ideal candidate will need to be able to provide a comprehensive view of their findings when they identify potential risk with working with 3rd party vendors. This information will need to be reviewed by Executives and other business leaders throughout the organization. With the ability to go on record and be provided to Auditors for periodic reviews.
