*TEKsystems is seeking a bilingual Patient Financial Advocate Customer Service Representative for a short term contract.*

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without the need for sponsorship.* Job Title: Patient Financial Advocate (PFA) Customer Service Representative Overview: The Patient Financial Advocate (PFA) plays a crucial role in the Medical Financial Solutions (MFS) department, focusing on securing payment of patient balances for hospital clients through a holistic approach. The PFA handles inbound phone calls in a dynamic call center environment, engaging in scripted conversations with patients to collect their portion of the account. This role requires analytical skills to assess patient eligibility for additional resources to settle financial obligations. *Key Responsibilities:* * Handle inbound and outbound phone calls to arrange payments for patient account balances. * Respond to patient billing inquiries via phone and email. * Negotiate payment plans and process credit card payments. * Escalate complex billing issues to senior associates or supervisors for resolution. * Meet or exceed daily production targets. * Adhere to all relevant disclosure and collections regulations. *Skills and Qualifications:* * Strong customer service skills, particularly in a call center environment. * Experience in healthcare customer service and patient care. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * *Bilingual abilities are a plus*. * Knowledge of insurance verification, collections, and medical terminology. *Top Skills:* * Customer service * Call center operations * Healthcare customer service * Patient care *Additional Requirements:* * Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience. * Experience in medical billing or insurance. * Preferably experienced in remote work. *Training and Development: * New PFAs receive comprehensive training, including three weeks of classroom and floor instruction, and are assigned a mentor. Success is measured by meeting established metrics, with high performers eligible for monthly and quarterly cash bonuses. Opportunities for advancement are available for those who demonstrate hard work, exemplary performance, and a continuous expansion of knowledge in host systems. *Work Environment:* * Candidates must have the capability to work from home, including reliable internet (50mbps) and a private place to take calls. * The client provides all necessary equipment, including two screens. * Managers foster a family environment, celebrating milestones and life events. * Employees living within 30 miles of a client location are required to work in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Specific office addresses will be provided. * Employees living more than 30 miles from a client location are not required to work in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Training Schedule: * Training: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM MST. * Post-training shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM MST. * Training includes 12 days with trainers and 3-4 days of nesting. *Compensation:* * *Non-Bilingual: $16.85/hour* * *Bilingual: $17.69/hour* Reason for Opening: * Growth with client *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.69 - $17.69 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
