Hours: 4:45am - 5:00pm 4 days on/4 days off Location: Plant City, FL While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Pre-Press Technician, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture. What You'll Be Doing: Graphic Design for promotional materials such as trade show graphics, brochures, and advertisements Container Label Design Pre-press setup and digital platemaking Code file setup for variable data printing Must be highly proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite Applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign), and all Microsoft Office Applications. Must be competent with both Mac and PC. Professional attitude and involvement with customer consultation and follow-up Cleaning the work area that surrounds the printer as well as maintain cleanliness of the press. Maintain productivity standards per position for Setup time, waste, press run time chart. We'd love to hear from you if: At least 2+ years' experience as Pre-press Technician Bachelor's Degree, Art Vocational Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Experience trapping colors Experience in flexographic printing Proficient with ESKO and DuPont FAST systems Comfortable meeting stringent deadlines Must be highly organized and detail oriented Strong analytical and reasoning capabilities to anticipate and identify printing issues related to design and pre-press Why You'll Like Working With US: We care about YOU through employee development, providing excellent benefits, investing in your future and valuing diversity and inclusion.
