A Day in the Life:

A typical day as an Attorney might include the following:

  • Assists the legal department in a variety of litigation-related matters, including responses to subpoenas, depositions, settlement agreements, litigation management, and client bankruptcy matters.
  • Assists with managing the firm's professional liability and general liability insurance claims.
  • Assists in monitoring multi-state regulatory requirements and ensures firm-wide compliance, particularly in the areas of employment, privacy, and data security.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts including client engagement letters, vendor agreements, business associate agreements, software license agreements, marketing agreements and intellectual property licensing agreements.
  • Assists Request for Proposal (RFP) response team in preparing submissions to RFPs issued by various public agencies and private entities.
  • Assists the General Counsel in the areas of quality control, risk management, service delivery, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Firm policy.
  • Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
  • Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Who You Are:

  • You have 1-5 years of professional legal experience in a law firm or in-house law department setting. Juris Doctor degree with active license to practice law required.
  • You have experience in litigation and employment experience plus strong business acumen, professional services firm experience preferred.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external audiences and the ability to communicate effectively in all media.
  • You have experience with project management support, including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • You have strong organizational/follow-up skills, must be able to work on projects simultaneously and change tasks quickly and see projects to the end.
  • You can propose solutions and think strategically with a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • You are active involvement with a professional organization.
  • You can work outside of non-traditional business hours and can travel as needed including overnight stays to our various offices.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation

$95,000-$130,000

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
