Job Summary

Participate and lead continuous improvement project plans along with department Managers, Engineers, and Supply Chain to provide Continuous Improvement on existing processes, implement automation projects, and provide data analysis on current baselines.

Primary Duties

  • Analyze production schedules, engineering/technical specifications, process flows, and other information to improve methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
  • Drive measurable improvements in quality, material control, throughput, flexibility, and cost
  • Interface with the various department functions to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained
  • Make recommendations for improvements to management based on business case and analysis
  • Design, create, and implement automation projects throughout the facility
  • Model a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and commitment to high-quality
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • Education - Current junior, senior, or graduate student in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering
  • Experience - 0-1 years of Distribution or Manufacturing
