Athletic Trainer for Sport Clubs

Flexible schedule as needed for sport club events, 6-10 hours maximum; Available for weekend, night, and holiday coverage

This position is a part-time staff position providing service to UNC Campus Recreation. The Athletic Trainer is expected to provide athletic training services for participants in UNC Campus Recreation activities, specifically Sport Club events. This job requires the usual involvement and commitment for athletic trainers. We require that the person in this job be available for weekend, night, and holiday coverage.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in the therapeutic specialty area to which assigned. Some positions may require additional training, certifications, or licensure in speech pathology, audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or other fields.

Excellent communication skills

Bachelor's Degree with NATA Certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer will be bound by the Athletic Trainer Licensure Act (G.S. 90-525, 528).

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
