This Project Manager must be a go getter and a driver and have experience managing financial systems projects. Two of the initial projects in the portfolio they will manage involve the Oracle Finance tool currently in place that they use for setting up financing. Description The client is looking for a contract IT Project Manager to join our IT team. This person will lead cross-functional teams focused on delivery of IT projects by planning and coordinating all aspects of information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Work involves understanding the high level objectives and detailed scope of the project and how they fit into overall business goals. The Project Manager will then partner with our Business and IT teams to plan and deliver the requisite new features and capabilities to achieve the business objectives. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity. Additional Skills & Qualifications Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource plans Delivery of assigned projects on-time and within budget Manage project team's work (IT and vendor personnel)- ensuring they are completing their assigned tasks within the established timeframes Adhere to IT Project Governance processes as set forth by the International IT PMO Create and maintain required project management documentation Ensure projects remain in alignment with business objectives Create, edit, and maintain electronic and written communications Coordinate project activities and participate in project meetings with matrix partners and staff Maintain and track meeting minutes Identify opportunities to improve IFIN results, communications, and operating efficiencies Take a broad perspective to identify solutions- both individually and collectively with the project team Exercise sound judgment in selecting best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Develop and maintain strong relationships with both IFIN Business and other IT professionals Perform other duties as assigned Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or other Agile tool Desired Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or ServiceNow Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment Works effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions Demonstrated good decision-making capability- must be able to manage both delicate and difficult situations as they arise. Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
