Primary Responsibilities



  • Timely and accurate processing of a high volume of product invoices and credits utilizing automated AP processing system
  • Timely and accurate processing of supplier point of sale invoices
  • Responsible for resolution of invoice and credit variances including communication with appropriate business units and suppliers
  • Ensure all supplier EFT draft information is submitted timely and any issues are cleared by end of following month
  • Respond to all assigned supplier inquiries timely
  • Consistent and timely follow up on received but not invoiced Purchase orders, outstanding claims and returns and any discrepancies on payments or credits
  • Review and research supplier statements as needed to ensure timely resolution of open AP transactions
  • Maintain all relevant process documentation
  • Develop and maintain a positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationship with teammates and supplier partners
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
  • Complete all other tasks, reporting or projects as assigned



Key Competencies



  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry proficiency required
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and 10-key by touch at minimum of 10k kph
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data in excel utilizing filter and sort functions as well as pivot tables and vlookup functions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management and vendors
  • Ability to work as a team player in problem resolution and process improvements

  • This job operates indoors in an office setting with occasional work from home opportunities

  • Lift/carry 20 lbs.

  • This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

Required Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated strong Microsoft excel experience and accounting software



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree


Compensation



  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
