Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering Automation Team Lead leads and develops advanced automation solutions, enhancing our efficiency through research, evaluation, and application of technologies and practices. You will provide support, mentoring, and guidance to engineers on the development of future technologies, evaluation of technology partners, maintenance of platforms, working with delivery to deploy processes, and working with the portfolio & PMO to launch new service offering.

We are looking for you to define strategies to automate and increase operational processes related to network, infrastructure & security, improve organizations to become more efficient. Guiding and motivating team members, promoting collaboration, and ensuring understanding of our goals. Distributing tasks and projects between team members based on their skills and expertise, ensuring a balanced workload.

The Engineering leader role includes working with the C&I project management office to lead continuous improvements ensuring on time technical development and designing solutions for scale. You will also lead aspects of our strategy process and the creation of a technology roadmap and supporting innovation activities. This is a remote role and will report to the Global Engineering Manager, Contracts Capabilities.

Responsibilities:

* You will provide mentoring, career planning / management, feedback, and direction to a direct team of engineers.

* You will promote the communication and collaboration required to develop new technologies, maintain platforms, remove technical barriers, and help ensure the success in assigned service launches.

* You will roll out Agile best practices and help create best practices around technology evaluation and maintenance.

* You will lead the evaluation of best practices and solutions available in the market.

* You will support multiyear technical roadmaps and cultivate innovation within the automation engineering team.

* You will implement engineering development responsibilities for assigned service launches & projects.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel up to 10%.

The Preferred - You Might Have:

* 5 years' experience and results in an automation engineering role.

* 5+ years of extensive experience using SOAR like tools.

* Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threats, attack techniques, and defense measures.

* 3 years Software development experience with skills in programming or scripting languages such Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash.

* 5 years' experience in: SIEM: Security InformationEventManagement,TIP:Threat Intelligent Platform, MISP Malwareinformationsharing platform, API: Application Programming Interface, and ETL: Extraction, Transformation, Load data or Others

* Experience in design and implement automation solutions.

* 5 years people management experience

* Demonstrated leadership qualities and lead departments, including outside vendors.
