The role:

The material coordinator manages inbound materials to meet production schedule requirements. Using SAP and other planning tools, you will evaluate productions requirements and plan shipments to insure materials are available to meet the production schedule. Reporting to the Receiving Team Lead you will also support inbound and outbound shipments of materials to support the shipping and receiving department. Create hazardous materials shipping documents as required.

1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you will do:



  • Manage inbound materials to meet production schedule requirements. Using SAP and other planning tools, the materials coordinator will evaluate productions requirements and plan shipments to insure materials are available to meet the production schedule.
  • Coordinate export and domestic shipments following company and governmental standards including hazardous material shipments.
  • Verify and sign for inbound/outbound shipments (domestic and international) including creation and processing of bills of lading, orderly staging of product, and ensure exceptional productivity possible.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, internal and external, to achieve overall goals.
  • Review all shipping and receiving documentation, ensure accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain all data and records, in their prospective database, relative to shipping and receiving activities.


What you will need:



  • High School Diploma.
  • International Shipments and Documentation.
  • Organization Skills.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Working knowledge of the international logistics process.
  • Knowledge of WMS/SAP.
  • Skilled in Microsoft office products - Word and Excel
  • Flexibility to meet and coordinate the changing needs of of the department, and customers both internal and external, to meet daily requirements.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, internal and external, to achieve overall goals
