POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Equipment Sales Representative reports to the General Manager / Government Sales
  • Located in Phoenix AZ
  • Full-Time
  • Remote

The Equipment Government Sales Representative is responsible for profitably growing government sales for TriMark in this salary + commission role. This will include providing turn-key commercial foodservice equipment solutions to existing government agencies as well as bringing in new customers within the 5 state south/central territory (TX, LA, NM, OK, AR). This role will also include a Project Management aspect of managing projects.

The Sales Representative will prospect, penetrate, and maintain new Equipment Sales business utilizing strategic and consultative selling tactics to maximize sales and profits of foodservice products and services. The Sales Representative is to act as a vested business partner of our valued customers through innovative, creative, and appropriate recommendations of solutions to meet the fiscal and business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and organizational staff that promotes loyalty, collaboration, and increased revenue between customers and the company.
  • Secure new accounts, maintain and increase YOY revenue.
  • Leverage and build relationships with General Contractors, Architects, and Consultants in order to do so.
  • Ascertain customer needs through observation and listening and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Be a strategic and innovative partner to customers.
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision-makers within the organization.
  • Ensure the customer knows all products and services company has to offer.
  • Establish and attend regular meetings with customers.
  • Utilize vendors, manufacturers, and internal resources to best meet customer needs.
  • Remain current on product knowledge through attendance of sales meetings, vendor trainings, reading industry related publications, and participating in industry related professional organizations.
  • Committed to growth in understanding of foodservice industry.
  • Address customer issues with customer service, credit, warehouse, or other company personnel or vendors when necessary in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Project manage projects or in collaboration with a member of the Equipment Department.
  • A willingness and desire to mentor Equipment Team colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain professional appearance and presence.
  • Knowledgeable about foodservice industry.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or Culinary Degree preferred, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • 2 years business-business sales experience.
  • Construction and Equipment sales experience is a plus!
  • 5 years sales experience in foodservice/hospitality management and/or foodservice sales preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
