Responsibilities |
The Academic Center for Excellence (
ACE) is comprised of 4 departments: Academic Advising, Academic Resource Center, Accessibility Services, and Registrar's Office.
ACE provides academic support to students, service to faculty, maintains all academic records, and collects data to identify student needs and provide tailored academic support. Responsibilities include:
- Data collection - utilize computer skills to provide data entry, reports, and analysis (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Teamwork, Technology
- Peer tutoring/coaching - utilize evidence-based strategies to support students (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)
- Collaborate with ACE leadership on data collection and reporting for student-centered resources and program evaluations (Critical Thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)
Administrative support - assist with day-to-day tasks for all ACE departments (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Professionalism, Technology)

Qualifications |
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
- Detail-oriented, able to function independently, self-starter
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer navigational, data entry and typing skills
- Current student, minimum 2.5 GPA
- Federal work study eligibility highly preferred
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
