DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform a variety of manual and machine operation tasks under the direction of a supervisor in the custodial care of Selinsgrove Center. Your duties will include maintaining cleanliness of the facility through outlined cleaning techniques, completing daily reports, and completing tasks in a timely manner. Areas to be maintained include bedrooms, bathrooms, entrances and hallways, visiting rooms, and other parts of the facility. You can expect to operate mechanical housekeeping equipment and choose appropriate cleaning tools and supplies for assigned tasks. Additionally, you will request equipment and supplies when needed and move furniture, including heavy furniture, in living areas and offices when required. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on a rotating schedule, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule will include approximately three weekends per year.
- Overtime will be offered voluntarily, as needed.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
