About the Role: As a public safety communications specialist in the cybersecurity and data privacy practice area, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support the modern internet-based communications technology that our clients, partners, and professions need to succeed. The ideal candidate should have a diversity of strengths associated in supporting state, local, and city government clients with their growing need for enterprise technology solutions. As a public safety communications specialist and NYSTEC consultant, your day-to-day role will be to research, collaborate, and contribute to identifying potential technology solutions starting with the initial client engagement and then progress through the service lifecycle by soliciting the client requirements, assessing the client's current state, developing recommendations, developing notional design solutions, implementation oversight, validation and deployment of end-to-end solutions that meet customer requirements, as well as post-launch technical activities such as assisting the implementation vendor(s) with troubleshooting, operations review, ongoing service development/optimization. Education and Experience * Minimum of a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
