Job Description Please note: The office location is not where the contractor will be reporting to.
We are seeking a Commercial Service Technician to join our expanding team. This role primarily supports customers in the Delaware market, with Dover, Delaware being an ideal location. The technician will service areas along the eastern shore, including parts of Maryland and Northern Delaware. There is no central office location for this market. The technician will receive their service call schedule a week in advance and typically handles an average of four tickets per day. The duration of calls can vary, ranging from an hour to a couple of days. All equipment will be shipped to the technician's home for transport to customer sites. A company vehicle will be provided for this role. Required Experience * Troubleshooting and problem-solving on various alarm panels, including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel), Bosch Keypad (B930), Honeywell, Concord, and Vista. * Experience with motion sensors, door locks, glass break detectors, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. * Fire panel experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for Silent Knight (6808, 6820) and Potter AFC (1000, 100, IPA 60, IPA 100, IPA 4000V) panels. Skills and Knowledge * Understanding of how security systems work and are set up. * Familiarity with Alarm.com and other security systems.
